A little while back, Andrew Sullivan wrote a great piece on the real problem at the core of the Tea Party. It's a short piece and well worth the read. As a real conservative, I appreciate the perspective that Sullivan can bring to a situation like this. The best line of the piece though just might be:
More and more, this feels to me like an essentially cultural revolt against what America is becoming: a multi-racial, multi-faith, gay-inclusive, women-friendly, majority-minority country.
