Wow it's late!  Yet I for some reason feel a superstitious compulsion to churn out this announcement before the day is over.  What would happen if I failed to send this thing?  Do I get seven years bad luck?  Does the world fall into glorious anarchy like two star-crossed lovers and one double-decker bus running towards a passionate embrace?  Does the entire universe collapse, fold down into nth space, and unfold again creating a parallel universe which is almost exactly identical to this one, except that the announcement actually does go out?  Did that actually just happen right now?
